Garrett T. Brennan, D.D.S. is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry since 1989. He is a graduate from the University of Buffalo, School of Dentistry. He did his residency in pediatric dentistry at Buffalo Children’s Hospital. Dr. Brennan has been in private practice with Children’s Dental Associates of New London County, P.C. since July, 1981. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the New London County Dental Society, the Connecticut Society of Pediatric Dentists and the Connecticut State Dental Association. He has served as a member of the New London Board of Education, the New London Democratic Town Committee, the Board of the Garde Arts Center, the Children’s First Initiative, the Mitchell College Woods committee and the Vestry of St. James’ Episcopal Church. He was voted one of the “Top Pediatric Dentists” in the Connecticut Magazine for 2008. He is married and has three children, one of whom is pursuing a career in dentistry. Dr. Brennan enjoys gardening, painting and swimming. Steven D. Ureles, D.M.D., M.S. is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He received a Masters in Physiology at Georgetown University. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and Harvard School of Dental Medicine, The Children’s Hospital, Boston. He has been in our practice since 1991 and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association, New London County Dental Society, the Connecticut Society of Pediatric Dentists, the International Association of Dental Research and the American Orthodontic Society. He has been actively involved in teaching part-time for over 20 years–Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Department of Growth and Development, University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics, and Columbia School of Dentistry, Division of Community Health in Social and Behavioral Sciences. He is published in the Year of Book of Dentistry Compendium of Continuing Education in Dentistry, Pediatric Dentistry, Journal of Dental Research, American Journal of Orthodontic Dentofacial Orthopedics He was an abstract editor of Pediatric Dentistry. He was also voted one of the “Top Pediatric Dentists” in the Connecticut Magazine for 2008. He is married with two teenagers, a Corgie and two Abyssinian cats. His hobbies include Classical and Jazz piano, Heli-skiing and Thai Chi. Melanie J. Fatone, D.M.D. is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She obtained her degrees from Tufts University and the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. She completed her specialty training at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center. She has been in our practice since 1995 and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association and the past-president of the Connecticut Society of Pediatric Dentists. She has chaired fundraisers for the Ronald McDonald House and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. She was voted one of the "Top Pediatric Dentists" in Connecticut Magazine for 2009 and 2010. Born and raised in Norwich, she resides in Salem with her husband, David, and their two children. Brett Clark, D.M.D., M.S.D. is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry who graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. He completed his pediatric dental residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center and received a Masters of Dental Science degree from the University of Connecticut. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Connecticut Society of Pediatric Dentists, the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association, and the New London County Dental Society. Dr. Clark is a past president of the Connecticut Society of Pediatric Dentists and has been in our practice since 1999. He was included in the list of “TopDentists” that appeared in the Hartford Magazine in 2007. He resides in Colchester with his wife, Lauren and their two sons. He enjoys mountain biking, motorcycles, boating, and skiing. Amy A. Napierala, D.D.S. is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry who attended the State University of New York at Buffalo and completed her residency at the Cincinnati Children’s Medical Center. She has been in our practice since 1999. Dr Napeirala was a consultant for DoctorSpock.com. She is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the New London County State Dental Society. Dr. Napierala enjoys scrapbooking, tap dance and baking. She resides in East Lyme with her husband Jeff Kozlowski and their two children. Dr. Napierala was voted one of Connecticuts top pediatric dentists from Connecticut magazine for the years 2009, 2010 and 2011. Kate M. Glazer, D.M.D., M.S. is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is a graduate of Tufts University and the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. She completed her specialty training at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, where she also received a Master of Science degree from Ohio State University. In addition, she is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Connecticut State Dental Association, the Connecticut Society of Pediatric Dentists, and the New London County Dental Society. She resides in Madison with her husband Jason, her son Josh and their Spanish Water Dog, Marley. She is an avid reader and enjoys traveling and sailing. Caroline Pronesti Young, D.M.D. is a candidate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is a graduate of Boston Univerisity and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She completed her specialty training in pediatrics at Boston University. In addition, she is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Massachusetts Pediatric Dental Society, and the Connecticut Society of Pediatric Dentists. She resides in Mystic with her husband Steven, her son, and their yellow labrador, Misty. Her interests include running, cycling, and gardening. Lia Parico, D.D.S. is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and graduate of Boston College and the University of Maryland Dental School. She completed her residency training at Yale-New Haven Hospital and is currently a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and Connecticut Society of Pediatric Dentistry. Lia grew up in Ledyard, where her family still lives, and enjoys baking, reading, counted-cross stitch, and especially summertime visits to Yankee Stadium. Matthew T. Goslee, D.M.D., M.P.H. is a Diplomate of the American Board of of Pediatric Dentistry. He is a graduate of Gettysburg College and the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. “Dr. Matt” completed his pediatric dentistry residency at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, where he also received a Master of Public Health degree. In addition, he is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Connecticut State Dental Association, and currently serves as the Secretary for the Connecticut Society of Pediatric Dentists. In 2009 and 2010, he was voted one of the “Top Pediatric Dentists” by the Connecticut Magazine. Dr. Matt’s wife Julie is a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist at the Institute of Living, Hartford Hospital. They have two children and enjoy biking, hiking, cooking, and water sports, especially if their dog can join them. Pediatiric Dentists:
Upon completion of specialty training, pediatric dentists voluntarily seek the personal quest for professional excellence through an evaluation and critique of their abilities by National Standards. This rigorous examination is for the purpose of validation and improvement of the pediatric dentist’s clinical and diagnostic abilities. Successful completion of the examination permits one to be designated a Diplomate of the Board of Pediatric Dentistry. |
