Cavity Prevention Program

At Children’s Dental Associates of New London County, we strongly believe that education and a strong partnership between dental professionals and parents are the key to a healthy mouth.

During visits, our dental experts will work to educate patients on good nutrition and oral care while providing important preventive services like cleanings and fluoride treatments. Additionally, we assess all of our patients’ future cavity progression by performing a Cavity Strep test on every child.

After the visit is complete, we will work to establish attainable goals with parents and patients both by developing an at home dental program to help reduce cavities and improve overall oral health.
