Melanie J. Fatone, D.M.D.

Dr. Fatone is a Diplomate and Fellow of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.  She obtained her degrees from Tufts University (Bachelor of Science and Certificate in Community Health) and the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine.  She completed her pediatric dentistry residency training at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center and Kosair Children’s Hospital.  She has been in our practice since 1995 and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association, the New London County Dental Society and has served as president of the Connecticut Society of Pediatric Dentists.  Dr. Fatone is a member of the TVCCA Head Start Health & Family Services Advisory Committee.  She has been voted one of the “Top Pediatric Dentists” in Connecticut Magazine for the last 12 consecutive years.  Born and raised in Norwich, she resides in Salem with her husband David, and their two children.
