Appointments

New Patient Appointments

Patients are seen by appointment. All new patient visits are scheduled in the morning. All patients MUST be accompanied to the initial visit by their parent or legal guardian. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time to fill out paper work if you have not already done so.

Late Appointments

We have reserved adequate time to meet your child’s needs, and your arrival at the appointed time is appreciated. We reserve the right to reschedule or alter the treatment plan if you arrive too late.

Broken Appointments

It is important that our families try to maintain their designated appointment time. If for some reason you cannot keep the reserved time, please contact us 24 hours prior to the appointment time to avoid a charge. Families that chronically miss their appointments will not be rescheduled.

Financial

Payment Policy

The adult who brings the child to the office is responsible for payment. Payment is due at the time of the visit and may be made by cash, check, MasterCard, Discover, Visa and Amex. We also offer the option to pay your bill online. Please click the button below to pay online.  If the child is covered under dental insurance, the adult must pay the amount not expected to be covered by insurance at the time of service.

Payment Discounts

A 10% courtesy discount is offered for services paid in full on the same day they are rendered, providing there is no existing balance on the account. If you have insurance, a walkout statement will be provided to you so you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Patient Pay Center

Insurance

Dental Insurance is different from Medical Insurance. Many patients aren’t familiar with the specifics of their dental insurance benefits. Your dental benefits are based on the agreement your employer negotiated with your insurance carrier. Please review the insurance benefit booklet provided by your employer to better understand the benefits they make available as part of your insurance coverage. The patient payment portion covered for procedures varies depending on the coverage provided by your employer.

An estimate of the amount covered by your insurance company will be provided at the time of your treatment, based on the information they provide to us. The estimate is never a guarantee of benefits or the amount that will be paid. We will file all insurance claims as a courtesy to our patients. This does not however, transfer the responsibility of your financial obligation to the insurance company. If the amount paid by the insurance company is less than or greater than the estimate, then you will be billed the difference or issued a credit on the account in the event of an overpayment. Please let us know if you have questions about our financial policies or financing options prior to your treatment.

We accept many types of dental insurance and will process your claim for you. All co-payments are collected at the time of the visit.

Cancellation Policy

Kindly provide at least 48 hours notice for any appointment that needs to be rescheduled. Appointments cancelled in less than 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation charge.
